Vibration
Routine monitoring and special investigations are performed with the highly acclaimed CSI portable analysers in conjunction with the AMS Suite software platform. Use is made of techniques such as PeakVue measurements for early detection of bearing and gear defects, SST (slow speed technology) for slow rotating machinery, waveform and spectrum analysis.
Electric Motor Analysis
Is performed, using the latest Stray Flux and current analysis techniques to determine electrical defects within electrical motors i.e cracked or broken rotor-bars/ shorted rings, phasing problems and stator related problems.
Infrared Thermography
A non-intrusive technology that allows you to “see” equipment health, locating potential electrical/mechanical
problems by detecting abnormal temperature fluctuations “ata- glance”. Full integration with other technologies allows users to customise reports and document critical maintenance actions.
Tribology / Oil Analysis
Our philosophy of oil management rather than diagnosis of the various elements of the oil, makes us different from most laboratories in general. Believing in replacing or filtration of the oil, based on condition and not on service intervals, applying Tri-Vector principals, which include:

Our Services
CMM Consultants supply all resources for the duration of this partnership, to perform and to advise on the best practices for the plant Condition Monitoring program.
This offer will include a total Condition Based Maintenance approach, whereby maintenance will be performed based on the condition of the identified equipment.
CMM Consultants visits the site at predefined intervals, capture and analyse all data as per scope of work. Submit a comprehensive report indicating the actual condition of the plant inclusive of corrective actions and recommendations on how to increase the availability and reliability of machines monitored.
The report will be electronically sent to the Asset Care Specialist within 36 hours after completion of data capture. Corrective actions and recommendations will be discussed in person with the Asset Care Specialist during the scheduled site visits.
CMM Consultants Shared responsibility - CMM Consultants will develop the skills of identified personnel on site to the level where they can perform all the front line Condition Monitoring tasks. This will typically include route based data capture, data downloads, exception reports, oil sample collection etc.
CMM Consultants will perform the analysis on identified equipment and will issue a corrective action report.
The data could be analysed by making use of WAN software or send via the Internet, which could result in huge cost savings. Annual database audits will be undertaken to ensure maximum benefits.
